The 2010 lineup for “Dancing with the Stars” was announced night during the controversial Bachelor season finale. This season has quite possibly one of the most star-packed and diverse rosters yet.
It was a big night for Bachelor hunk Jake Pavelka as he was also announced as the “surprise” eleventh member of the new cast. Pavelka, a 32-year-old commercial pilot, chose the blonde villan, Vienna Girardi, and gave her a Neil Lane princess-cut diamond engagement ring on last night’s finale.
The controversy in the 2010 “Dancing with the Stars” thankfully does not stop with Pavelka. In fact, he may play second fiddle to some of the show’s newest headliners.
Here are some of the celebrities who will soon be shaking it on our TV screens
Aiden Turner will go from melting hearts on ABC’s “All My Children” to melting the dance floor with his sizzling moves.
Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin is trading his moon shoes for dancing shoes.
Chad Ochocinco, the hotheaded Cincinnati Bengal’s wide receiver, will surely hope to achieve similar dancing success like former football star and “Dancing with the Stars” champ Emmitt Smith.
Erin Andrews, ESPN sports reporter hottie, will have to leave her microphone at home to tear it up on this season.
Olympic gold medal winning speed skater Evan Lysacek, will have a distinct advantage due to his killer physical shape.
We wonder how the most famous reality mom Kate Gosselin will fit rigorous training into her busy schedule.
Reno 911 funny girl Nicey Nash will surely be hoping her performances on the dance floor aren’t as laughable as her TV roles.
Pussycat Doll leading lady Nicole Scherzinger has a dancing advantage from her performing experience.
Shannon Doherty, 90210’s most famous bad girl, will be heating up the dance floor (and if her past is any indication, maybe getting heated with some cast members?)
America’s favorite sex symbol, Pamela Anderson, rounds (literally) out the eleven-member cast.
