Couple Time Tebrow Helped get Engaged

Quarterback Tim Tebow can be counted on to make it memorable! The former Heisman Trophy winner recently helped make a dream moment come true.

Tebow was at an autograph signing event when he helped Sarah Springer and Ian Lis get engaged. At the event in Palm Beach, FL, the couple made their way through to get their autographs and photo op. When it was their turn, Tebow brought out The Ring Box with a note, “I think Ian has a question.” Lis proposed right there to Springer, whom he’d been with for nine years. He did it right, too – on bended knee. Tebow had held on to the ring for almost an hour while waiting for the couple to make their way through the line.

The couple hit the press junket on Wednesday morning to tell all. Lis said that Tebow was happy to help, and Lis knew that after all the years they had been together, he needed to do something really special for the proposal. Tebow did ask for an invitation to the wedding. The least they can do, in this author’s opinion! Of her reaction, Springer said, “It was shock. I never felt anything like it, it was amazing!”

Tebow may have had a soft spot for them, though. All three are University of Florida alumni.
