Fran Drescher seems to have a life that was written by a Hollywood screenwriter. It goes something like: married high school sweetheart, divorced high school sweetheart, discovers ex-husband is gay, becomes best friends with ex-husband.

Interestingly, this bizarre life story is now becoming an actual sitcom! Drescher’s latest project, Happily Divorced, stars the comic actress as a Los Angeles florist who is entering the singles life after discovering her husband is gay after 18 years of marriage.

Drescher admits that while the sitcom is based loosely on her own story, there are still major differences. She admits that she and her ex-husband, also co-producer of the show, Peter Jacobson, had great sex, and his sexual orientation was not what caused their split.

Drescher says that Jacobson was very controlling, but him being gay was just an afterthought. We can’t wait to see the new show!

Since the news broke to Maria Shriver of her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger having an affair with their housekeeper, as well as fathering a child, it was only a matter of time before she called it quits on the marriage.

Despite Arnold’s best efforts to keep his home life in tact after 25 years of marriage, Shriver had enough and moved out of their Brentwood, Calif. home and filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles. She cites “irreconcilable differences.”

The couple have four children, two of which are now adults. The other two, Christopher, 13, and Patrick, 17, will most likely be part of a shared custody agreement.

The couple is believed to split their vast fortune, totaling nearly $400 million. Once the details are further revealed, we’ll report more.

A Sweet Parting of the Ways

Jack White, former frontman of the band White Stripes, is splitting from his wife, Karen Elson.

The pair met when Elson, a British model and singer, appeared in the White Stripes’ music video for the song “Blue Orchid.” The couple married in 2005 in Brazil and have two children, Scarlett Teresa and Henry Lee.

In a bizarre twist, the quirky couple decided to celebrate rather than be sad about their impending divorce. They threw a party over the weekend in Nashville, Tenn., where they have lived since being married, inviting only close friends and family, to celebrate their 6th year anniversary and upcoming divorce.

The pair wrote in a statement, “We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow.”

The statement continued, “In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party, an evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family.”

It’s nice to see a celebrity couple be so mature and positive about their divorce for once!

It’s official. Charlie Sheen is a single man. Don’t all attack him at once, ladies.

The troubled pair finally reached an agreement after a turbulent few months since they first hashed out their divorce agreement. The couple have both been to rehab and had considerable fights over the custody of their children.

Mueller will receive around $55,000 a month in child support for their twin sons. She also received a one-time payment of $757,698.70 as well as $1million for their home, which Charlie will keep.
