Wedding Rings Soon for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz

A very happy Alicia Keys has been wearing an engagement ring from her fiance Swizz Beatz around town lately, however the pair isn’t in any hurry to get to the alter quite yet. Beatz was recently interviewed by OK! Magazine, and gave them some insider information about the couple’s upcoming wedding plans.

“Well…it’s not THIS weekend! But you know we’re excited,” he told the magazine.

The couple is not just planning a wedding, they are also expecting their first child! Like the artist Beatz is, when asked about the new relationship he returned with a bit of his own philosophy: “Our union is quite amazing. Our union is pure, and our union is positive; no matter what people say or think, time will tell everything. And you know, silence is the best thing. We just keep it all private and we do our thing; just having fun with it”

Another news source speculated that Beatz is most likely referring to the fact that he supposedly left his previous wife and mother of two children, Moshonda Tifrere, for the “If I ‘Aint Got You” chanteuse.

Regardless, we hope Alica and Swizz are happy and we wish them the best.

Country songstress Carrie Underwood finally had her fairy-tale wedding to Canadian pro hockey player Mike Fisher. The pink-hued fantasy wedding took place at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation resort in Georgia.

The bride wore a beautiful Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown, along with a tiara that had over 40 carats worth of diamonds. Even her dog, Ace, was sporting some bling as he was dressed in a Swarovski crystal-encrusted pink tuxedo.

The American Idol winner’s mother told People magazine, “I was sad because she’s my baby. But I always said a prayer she’d find the right person, and I know she did.” Underwood exclaimed that the only one who seemed to object was Ace, as he trotted down the aisle with the ring bearer and flower girl and “was barking at us like mad.” Fisher added, “We were laughing, everyone was laughing and Ace was barking.” Sounds like all had a good time!

‘The Office’ Star Marries Beau

'The Office' Star Marries Beau Lee Kirk

Jenna Fischer was out of the office this past weekend as she married her beau, Lee Kirk, in Malibu two Saturdays ago. Fischer kept the affair low key, and only her rep confirmed to People magazine, “They were married on July 3 in front of family and friends.”

While the wedding was off the radar, there were still celebs in attendance. Fischer’s The Office co-star Rainn Wilson excitedly tweeted about the nuptials, “Went to the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever experienced. Total Love, Jenna Fischer & Lee Kirk!”

Kirk popped the big question last summer after the pair had been dating for a year and a half. It’s Fischer’s second marriage, as she was previously married to writer James Gunn. This is the first marriage for Kirk. Next up in The Office family to take the plunge is Fischer’s on-screen love, John Krasinski, who plans to marry English actress Emily Blunt on July 10, according to various sources.

Former Miss California USA Marries Kyle Boller

Carrie Prejean, the woman best known for being the former Miss California USA, tied the knot with her fiancé, football player Kyle Boller. The pair married at the beautiful Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego last Friday. The 25-minute ceremony took place at the hotel’s Capella Church.

Carrie, 23, wore a classic mermaid-cut dress and had six bridesmaids. The Oakland Raiders groom wore a traditional black tux. E! Online reported from an eyewitness, “It was beautiful. They had cocktails on the lawn right after. Everyone seemed really happy.”

Carrie may be out of the pageant life, but she’s never far away from the headlines. She recently appeared on Larry King’s CNN show to promote her book Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks, when she unexpectedly walked off the set. She claims King was being inappropriate.

And they sure aren’t afraid to show it! Not long after “secretly” tying the knot in Hawaii, the former 90210 star and his new bride couldn’t help but flaunt their wedding bliss around during their honeymoon. The wedding took place at the Four Seasons on the big island with a small wedding party sometime last week.

After meeting on the set of the 2004 TV series Hope & Faith, the couple have been together in an on again/off again relationship. They were engaged previously from 2006 to 2009, when the engagement was inexplicably called off. Just this year, they rekindled their wedding plans by becoming engaged for a second time and of course walking down the aisle last week.

The sexy couple made a very stealth move getting married under the radar, but what’s next for the hot celebs? Green has plenty of productions pending, according to IMDB, and Fox’s career is slightly on the wane after leaving the big box-office Transformers franchise. Lucky for them they are now happily married!

Mena Suvari Reveals Wedding Details

Actress Mena Suvari married fiancé Simone Sestito in Rome last Saturday. Suvari notes that the wedding was “very traditional and romantic.” She reveals that the couple chose Rome because “it is the true city of romance, and to be able to wed in the Eternal City is all we could have asked for this occasion.”

The pair walked down the aisle in a beautiful eighth century church in Vatican City. They had a quartet with an organist and soprano, and People.com reports Suvari wore an Alice + Olivia dress. Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the same 15th century castle that Tom Cruise famously married Katie Holmes in back in 2006.

After exchanging their white-gold wedding bands, which were actually designed by the groom, 25-year-old concert producer Sestito, they and their guests feasted on raviolini, risotto, and veal carré. The reception also included fireworks. The American Beauty star and her new husband plan to stay on in Italy for their honeymoon.

500,000 Gather At Swedish Royal Wedding

Sweden’s Princess Victoria, heir to the Swedish throne, married her true love Daniel Westling, now Prince Daniel, this past Saturday in Stockholm. The wedding comes after months of preparation and mass media coverage, culminating in a royal wedding attended by over 1,200 guests. Guests included European royalty, celebrities, and political leaders.

Added to the scores of guests were around 500,000 people that gathered in the streets of Stockholm to watch the grand ceremony first hand and pay respect to the bride and groom. The story has gathered a lot of attention in Sweden and surrounding European countries, as Daniel is an ordinary Swedish citizen, with no royal ties. The pair met when Daniel was working as the Princess’ personal trainer. Public relations officials have called the wedding “Love Stockholm” due to the fact that it is truly a marriage of love.

The couple married on the same day as current King Carl XVI Gustav married Queen Silvia in 1976. Princess Victoria wore the same tiara and veil as Silvia did. The ceremony, which included an enormous 10-foot-high wedding cake, was broadcast on Swedish television across the country well into the night.

Since her previous wedding to Peter Andre, British glamour model Jordan is set to make her new foray down the aisle a classy affair. In contrast to her first tacky fairy-tale themed nuptials, her wedding to cage fighter Alex Reid in Las Vegas is going to be a ball rather than a disco, according to The Sun. The dress is still being designed and organizers are flustered trying to get Jordan what she wants. She insists on a “sophisticated” look. Her last wedding dress had thousands of Swarovski crystals. Not exactly subtle.

The wedding will be attended by gossip columnist Perez Hilton and Piers Morgan, but several big name stars have turned down the invitation, including Jordan’s Celebrity Big Brother pals Vinnie Jones, Sisqo, and Stephen Baldwin. Jordan, real name Katie Price, is expecting her guests to get down to her new single, which is to be released ten days after the wedding. She has yet to decide if she will sing it live, or have her ex-boyfriend DJ Dane Bowers play it at the reception.

Even though the couple tied the knot officially in Las Vegas back in February, they decided to hold this ceremony for friends, family, and TV cameras. They signed a deal with ITV2 for £600,000 to allow the network to film the wedding and honeymoon. Jordan commented, “It’s going to be great sharing this fantastic day with my friends and family. I can’t wait to celebrate our love for each other again.”

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Tie The Knot

As Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart look back on eight years together, they can finally celebrate with a wedding. Ford popped the question to Flockhart on Valentine’s Day 2009. The couple met over eight years ago when they were introduced to each other at the Golden Globes. At the time, Flockhart had just adopted a son, Liam, 9, and Ford has been a father to him ever since.

The couple walked down the aisle in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Tuesday. The wedding was a low-key affair at the Governor’s Mansion and the ceremony was performed by Santa Fe Governor Bill Richardson. The wedding was under the legal supervision of New Mexico’s Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels. He declared the happy couple officially and legally wed!

Governor Richardson, along with his wife, Barbara, were guests at the wedding. Ford and Flockhart’s son Liam was also there with the company of the governor’s official counsel. This is the third marriage for Ford, 67, who has four children from previous marriages, and the first for 45 year-old Flockhart.

Canadian songstress and über-feminist Alanis Morissette has taken the plunge and married underground rapper MC Souleye, aka Mario Treadway, in a small private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. Morissette did not disclose details about the nuptials but took to her Twitter page to share her happy news saying, “Hi guys! So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married! We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other.” The “Ironic” singer has been dating the Boston-born rapper since her separation from long time boyfriend and environmental lawyer Tom Ballanco seven months ago. MC Souleye has been working on an album and has toured the world playing at music festivals such as South by South West, Burning Man, and Coachella.
