According to actress Eva Amurri, finding the right dress wasn’t too dissimilar to finding the right guy.
Amurri, who is engaged to Fox Soccer Channel commentator Kyle Martino, told People,”I tried on a ton of dresses and it was a weird, long process. I thought that I might like a certain one but I wasn’t really sold.”
Amurri continued, “Then I tried on my dress and I just fell in love with it. It’s almost like dating: ‘I think this is the guy,’ and then you actually meet the guy and you’re like, ‘I don’t know what I was thinking about that [other] guy.”
Despite her struggles finding the perfect dress, it seems Amurri, daughter of Susan Sarandon, has help from her fiancé for the big day. “He’s been a good mix of ‘Do whatever you want’ and ‘I care.’” That’s nice to hear!

Actress Heather Matarazzo, best known for her role as Dawn Wiener in the indie film Welcome to the Dollhouse, is planning to marry longtime girlfriend Caroline Murphy.
Matarazzo and Murphy plan to wed in New York, after the state recently passed legislation legalizing same-sex marriage. Matarazzo commented, “My eyes and spirit have opened up since I found someone that I get to share my life with.”
The pair have been engaged for three years, but they are only now planning their dream wedding with the passing of the law.

How has it taken this long for Shannen Doherty to have a reality TV show? We’re not sure, but the good news is, we won’t have to wait much longer.
WEtv is producing a reality show that will follow Doherty as she plans her wedding to celebrity photographer Kurt Iswarienko. The couple will also be in the middle of renovating their Malibu home.
The show’s production will begin in August, and (hopefully) track the couple all the way to a season finale wedding. We say hopefully because Shannen has already had two marriages that didn’t last a year, and another engagement that didn’t make it to a wedding.
The stress of a wedding and home renovation will surely cause Doherty to lose her cool. Luckily it will be caught on camera!

It’s been a busy weekend for celebrity babies as Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy welcomed a baby boy into their lives on Sunday.
A rep spoke for the pair confirming the birth and announcing they had a “healthy baby boy.”
The couple recently announced their engagement and Kate Hudson showed off her 9-carat engagement ring on The Today Show.
A source told UsMagazine that the pregnancy was a surprise, but the couple were still ‘delighted’ with the news.
Kate has one son, Ryder, 7, from her previous marriage to Chris Robinson.
Julie Benz, former star of Showtime’s hit show Dexter, is engaged.
People confirmed that the 39-year-old actress is engaged to her long-term boyfriend Rich Orosco, a 38-year-old marketing executive.
Orosco popped the big question on Sunday at their home in Los Angeles. The engagement ring is nothing to laugh at either. It’s a customized Kwiat cushion-cut diamond with a platinum ring, diamond frame, and mill-grain edge band.
Benz tells People, “It was absolutely perfect. The proposal was simple and beautiful.”
Just to top things off, Orosco planned a surprise Mexican-themed engagement party right after he asked for her hand in marriage. 60 of their closest friends and family attended the surprise party to celebrate.

It would seem that the rumors of Ashlee Simpson and ex-husband Pete Wentz reconciling are probably untrue. The singer was seen out around New York City with Boardwalk Empire actor Vincent Piazza, according to People.
Sparks flew as the pair walked with arms wrapped around each other, smiling, and sipping on iced beverages. Even with paparazzi snapping at their heals, they sat on a curb and shared a kiss right in front of all the cameras.
Despite being seen together taking out their son Bronx back in March, it would seem Simpson and Wentz are far from getting back together after Simpson was seen getting so cozy with Piazza.

Actress Judy Greer has said ‘yes’ to her boyfriend, Dean Johnson, when he proposed on a recent vacation together.
Greer’s rep told E! Online that Johnson popped the question while the couple were visiting romantic Napa Valley, California. Greer was quoted as saying, “I’m really excited. I’m so happy.”
The 35-year-old actress took Johnson as her date to the first annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards over the weekend. Greer was smiling and sporting her brand new engagement ring.
Greer has been acting for years, and although she may not be a household name, you’ve seen her many films. She often plays the ‘best friend’ role to the lead in films and TV, including What Women Want, Californication, and Arrested Development.

Indie movie darling Michelle Williams can smell love in the air. She was seen stepping out with her new man, director Cary Fukunga, in Brooklyn, New York.
So far the pair have been able to keep the news of their budding relationship quiet, but their appearance together and smily conversation as they walked around the neighborhood spoke volumes.
Most recently, Williams dated director Spike Jonze, but the couple weren’t a good fit and broke up in 2009. Despite the breakup, Jonze has attempted to win Williams back earlier this year.

The young man with the electric smile has been dating Twilight star Nikki Reed and the couple announced their engagement at the MTV Movie Awards last night. They have only been dating a few short months, but a source close to the couple has confirmed the news of the engagement.
Reed couldn’t hold back her feelings at the awards show about her and the Top 8 Idol singer. She gushed to reporters that, “He’s the one,” while showing off her new sparkler to the cameras, according to E! Online.
The couple first met when they both attended the L.A. premiere of Red Riding Hood back in March.

Actress and model Molly Sims has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Scott Stuber.
The couple have been dating for over a year and a half and it is being reported by UsMagazine.com that Stuber popped the big question on May 20.
People is also reporting that Stuber, a movie producer, even flew Sims’ parents to their house in Los Angeles to celebrate the announcement.
Sims recently dated actor Aaron Eckhart, but broke up with the The Dark Knight star in 2009. Sims played the role of Delinda Deline on the TV show Las Vegas. She is also a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.
