Wedding Rings Soon for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz

A very happy Alicia Keys has been wearing an engagement ring from her fiance Swizz Beatz around town lately, however the pair isn’t in any hurry to get to the alter quite yet. Beatz was recently interviewed by OK! Magazine, and gave them some insider information about the couple’s upcoming wedding plans.

“Well…it’s not THIS weekend! But you know we’re excited,” he told the magazine.

The couple is not just planning a wedding, they are also expecting their first child! Like the artist Beatz is, when asked about the new relationship he returned with a bit of his own philosophy: “Our union is quite amazing. Our union is pure, and our union is positive; no matter what people say or think, time will tell everything. And you know, silence is the best thing. We just keep it all private and we do our thing; just having fun with it”

Another news source speculated that Beatz is most likely referring to the fact that he supposedly left his previous wife and mother of two children, Moshonda Tifrere, for the “If I ‘Aint Got You” chanteuse.

Regardless, we hope Alica and Swizz are happy and we wish them the best.

Swizz Beatz Ex Confirms his Engagement to Alicia Keys

Just this week, attorneys for Mashonda Dean, former wife of rapper Swizz Beatz, and professionally known as only “Mashonda,” have just confirmed the soon-to-be nuptials of her ex, Swizz Beatz, with Alicia Keys. Lawyer for Mashonda, Bernard Clair, confirmed that Beatz has in fact purchased an engagement ring for his new fiance.

Along with a seven and a half carat engagement ring, Beatz also just bought a 14.5 million dollar penthouse in New York City, where the newlyweds will reside. All this in spite of his, as Mashonda’s lawyer calls it, “particularly troubling” failure to pay court-ordered child and spousal support to his former wife and their son. The divorce was finalized just weeks ago, but Beatz reportedly already owes $334,000 worth of missing payments.

Beatz was married to Mashonda from 2004-2008 and they have a 13 year old son, Kaseem Dean Jr., together. According to Mashonda, “Swizz Beatz is a dead beat who owes [her] big money.”

Despite all of this, the newly engaged couple, Keys and Swizz Beatz, is reportedly planning a wedding in France or Dubai this summer. Keys is also been rumored to be pregnant with Beatz’s child.
