Surprisingly in the news, it appears that Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Hogan, may be engaged to her 21-year-old boyfriend, Charlie Hill. Speculations say Charlie is excited he can legally drink alcohol at his own wedding.

According to limelife.com, the couple plans to dress themselves with engagement rings aboard Linda’s new and ironically named Yacht, the “Alimony”. It is assumed the name for the yacht is inspired from the monthly sum of cash Hulk Hogan sends Linda as a result of their recent divorce; the two were married for 24 years.

Linda and Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke, 22, a reality star and wannabe singer in a discussion with E! Online last year admitted that she is definitely not a fan of her mother’s new love affair.

“He is a loser. I don’t have a problem with age – it’s more about character. Her love is not real and not right,” she reported to the news source.

You can’t help but feel a little awkward thinking about it; she’s talking about her future step-dad.

Lewis Hamilton And Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger Engaged

Lewis secretly popped the question after Nicole won Dancing With The Stars in May. She was quoted in Hello!, “He has asked me lots of times before to marry him but it was only after all the support he gave me in Dancing With The Stars that I agreed.”

Nicole and her racing fiancé are now planning a beautiful beach wedding as soon as the Formula One season ends in November. Nicole wants the wedding to be like a romantic scene in a film, with the reception following at London hot-spot The Dorchester Hotel to celebrate with all their friends.

Actress Zoe Saldana Gets Engaged

Along with having a booming career, actress Zoe Saldana, 32, sure knows how to keep a secret. The beautiful Avatar star is now engaged to her boyfriend of about 10 years! If you asked around, most wouldn’t have had a clue she was even dating someone. And that lucky someone is My Fashion Database CEO Keith Britton, 33.

His name and the fact that the couple are engaged was all the info Saldana’s rep was willing to confirm. Earlier this year was one of the few times the actress opened up about her ultra supportive fiancé. In an interview with Glamour magazine, Saldana said, “Well, it’s not like he sits around waiting,” she said of her hectic shooting schedules. “We travel a lot, which keeps things alive. We’re very private. It’s worked for 10 years — long enough to go to hell and back.”

No details have surfaced about the proposal or a possible wedding date. All we know is that whenever the young couple plans to marry, it’s sure to be very under the radar. That, and at least she’ll have her something blue covered!

Bethany Lott

According to WATE-TV, a young couple hiking in the western North Carolina mountains were struck by tragedy when lightening struck them both. The young woman, Bethany Lott, passed away as a result of the strike, while her boyfriend, Richard Butler, was injured. The most tragic part of all is that Butler was moments away from proposing to Lott as the lightening struck.

“Everything went black. I was spun 180 degrees, thrown several feet back. My legs turned to jelly, my shoes were smoking and the bottom of my feet felt like they were on fire,” says Butler of the incident. Sadly, it was Lott that took the direct hit. Butler commented, “[I] crawled to her, rolled her over, they say she was gone automatically, but I tried CPR for probably 15 minutes.”

Following the accident, Butler spoke of Lott’s love for the outdoors. He said, “I picked that spot because she actually said she would like to get married there. She absolutely loved the outdoors. Her last words, about 30 seconds before it struck us. She turned to me and said, ‘God baby look at it, isn’t it beautiful?’” Butler had a ring with him and was prepared to propose just before the lightning struck. Butler said, “I’ve tried to be mad at God, but I can’t do it. I feel like it is my obligation to her to be as happy as I can be and be as productive with the rest of my life as can be and do as much good as she would’ve done.”

As the highly anticipated third season of HBO’s hit show True Blood is preparing to air, the wedding of co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer is also highly anticipated. Rumors have been floating around for months about a summer wedding, but nothing could be further from the truth.

At the premier of the new season of HBO’s successful vampire series, Moyer was quick to laugh off speculation regarding his marriage rumors. “We haven’t even started. I don’t know who these sources are who say we have plans…We haven’t even started yet,” he comments. “But we’ve got ages. We’ve got a lifetime.” The couple has only been engaged for nine months so they really don’t need to be in any rush.

Moyer also joked with interviewers at the premier, regarding the tallness of his fellow co-stars Alexander Skarsgard and new werewolf Joe Manganiello. He also advises that a good way for a human to make a vampire fall in love with her is to offer up her neck, eat her greens and lots of carrots for night vision.

It’s no secret that Prince William, 27, and his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, 28, have plans to wed. The tabloids have been buzzing about it since they got together seven years ago (except for a brief respite in 2007 when the couple was on the outs). So when are we going to see a ring on her finger, already? The Prince has stated that he wants to finish his military career first, and that time is fast approaching (his stint with the Royal Air Force will conclude at the end of summer, and then he’s committed to three years as a Search and Rescue pilot).

However, news has broken suggesting that Buckingham Palace plans to make the engagement announcement in early June (due to the 3rd and 4th being mysteriously blocked out on the calendar). Further evidence includes photos of Middleton trying on a wedding dress and her mother’s slip that June will be very busy for the family. Skeptics, on the other hand, say if it’s going to happen, it won’t be until August when Prince William has concluded his military duties. The media gadflies have predicted a November wedding, although the only reliable basis for this assumption is the current political schedule. By all accounts, though, a wedding is in the works and Will and Kate are said to prefer a small, intimate ceremony, rather than the lavish “wedding seen round the world” enacted by Charles and Diana.

As of yet, there has be no announcement, but the world will wait breathlessly until the clock strikes midnight to see if Kate Middleton becomes Cinderella.

Despite the role Gossip Girl actress Joanna Garcia plays on TV, trying to get the juicy gossip about her love life wasn’t so straightforward. The red-haired beauty kept her engagement to Yankee’s player Nick Swisher a secret for at least a few weeks. The former WB star has now confirmed receiving a stunning engagement ring from her baseball-playing beau.

“We kept it a secret for a while,” Swisher commented to the New York Post. “She was wearing that big rock, though.” Swisher and Garcia have only been publicly dating since September, and despite being previously engaged to Justin Timberlake’s business partner, Trace Ayala, Garcia had no hesitation in saying yes to her hunky Yankee’s outfielder.

Swisher referred to his Privileged actress as “amazing” when he recently appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. A mere six weeks ago, Welsh love birds Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson announced their engagement. Already the news is out that the engagement is now over. After five years of blissful romance, the couple revealed on Sunday that they have split and the wedding is definitely off.

The singer and former rugby star were planning to get married as soon as possible. Church felt no need for a long engagement and preferred to tie the knot right away. Gavin proposed on Charlotte’s 24th birthday and included a private helicopter ride to Cornwall and a heart-shaped diamond he purchased a few weeks prior in Dubai.

At the center of the breakup is said to be several arguments the couple had recently. The ex-Wales and Ospreys rugby player’s friendship with Footballer’s Wives actress Susie Amy is said to be at the heart of these arguments with Church. Charlotte will remain in the couple’s £1.2 million home she shared with Henson, along with the couple’s two children, 2-year-old Ruby and 1-year-old Dexter.

James Marsters, the popular actor that has appeared on hit shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Smallville is about to take on another role…the role of husband. The 47-year-old actor recently proposed to longtime girlfriend Patricia Rahman, a fashion design student in Germany. Rahman is just 24-years-old but the couple is said to be madly in love.

Marsters used to play with a band called Ghost of the Robot and during one of his concerts in Amsterdam back in 2006, is where he met Rahman. Marsters told People Magazine, “I met her backstage and got her phone number, but my jeans were cleaned out by the crew and they threw it out. I’d given her my number, but she took down one digit wrong. It took her six months to call all of the different combinations.”

The couple has plans to wed this fall. Marsters can be seen in the new CBS show Hawaii 5-0.

Holly Hunter, 52, actress extraordinaire (Raising Arizona, Broadcast News, The Piano…the list goes on, but she currently stars in the hit series Saving Grace on TNT), was recently seen sporting a hefty ring on a very important finger on the set of Craig Ferguson’s late night program, The Late Late Show. Although she and long-time boyfriend, TV director Gordon MacDonald (Sanctuary, the Stargate series), had twin boys back in 2006, their nine-year relationship has yet to include wedding bells, although apparently her single status may be soon to change.

Despite some playful prodding by Ferguson, who pointed to the ring, asking, “Do you have some news?”, Hunter refused to confirm or deny an engagement, instead playing her cards close to the vest with some playful banter of her own, admitting only that it came from “a very confident man”. The ring is reportedly quite large, and Ferguson teased, “He used to have money at one point, clearly. Probably not so much any more!” Hunter responded only with a smile.
Hunter has yet to reveal any wedding plans, or even announce the engagement (although the cat is clearly out of the bag). However, if the tone of the wedding is anything like the ring, it’s bound to be an extravagant affair!
