James Marsters, the popular actor that has appeared on hit shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Smallville is about to take on another role…the role of husband. The 47-year-old actor recently proposed to longtime girlfriend Patricia Rahman, a fashion design student in Germany. Rahman is just 24-years-old but the couple is said to be madly in love.

Marsters used to play with a band called Ghost of the Robot and during one of his concerts in Amsterdam back in 2006, is where he met Rahman. Marsters told People Magazine, “I met her backstage and got her phone number, but my jeans were cleaned out by the crew and they threw it out. I’d given her my number, but she took down one digit wrong. It took her six months to call all of the different combinations.”

The couple has plans to wed this fall. Marsters can be seen in the new CBS show Hawaii 5-0.
