Despite the rumors that have been floating around, Bradley Cooper has yet to put an engagement ring on girlfriend Renée Zellweger’s finger. Page Six claimed that the low-key couple is about to walk down the aisle, largely due to the fact that Zellweger was shopping at the infamous bridal shop Carolina Herrera’s Melrose Place over a week ago. But both claim it’s not to be just yet.

Zellweger’s rep came out publicly and commented to E!, “Please don’t believe the gossip.” To make matters more confusing, Zellweger left the shop with a garment bag, but the store refused to comment on what article of clothing might be inside. If it was indeed a wedding dress, E! was getting no answers from Cooper’s reps either way as they flat out refused to comment.

Since the couple began dating last August, Zellweger most recently had the pleasure of meeting Cooper’s parents, with whom they had lunch at the Tribeca Grand Hotel last week. If wedding rumors eventually become fact, this will be the second marriage for both, as Zellweger was married to singer Kenny Chesney and Cooper to actress Jennifer Esposito, respectfully.

Bradley Cooper, star of the hit film ‘The Hangover’ is supposedly ready to propose to girlfriend Renee Zellweger (although Cooper had denied reports). While Cooper was in New York for his appearance on ‘Late Night with David Letterman,’ Cooper was spotted engagement ring shopping.

According to In Touch, “He already has a setting he likes, but he visited various jewelers on 47th Street, including I. Friedman & Son, to look for a stone. He wore a hat and dark glasses and just walked right in. He is old-fashioned,” the insider says. He’ll probably get down on one knee and propose in a romantic setting — and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on Valentine’s Day.”
